Personally I enjoyed th movie. It covers a topic people in the U.S wonder about or fantisize about. The shocker is the year this movie was made.
Great Cheap Movie!
The settings, costumes, even lighting screamed of below low budget! The acting was not so bad. But the direction, editing, and scenery were very good. The writing was fantastic! It was twisted, demented and very unexpected! Everything you want in a drama/horror movie. I, myself give it overall a 4.25. Which for me, IS a very good score. If you're looking for Fantastic acting or cookie cutter script, move past. If you want bizarre (but somehow believable?), this is it!
Great old HORROR movie !!
Recomended , can see on Netflix also !
what a wierd movie...very '70s with an air of desperation. all sweaty and cheap full of trash. which makes this movie wonderful to watch. just think these actors woke up that day and this was what they did. you can feel the off screen drug use. what makes this movie so wierd and totally scary is that it has a feeling of so. cal in the '70s just after the manson murders. at the end they creep up to a house and break in to get baby and thats when you realize how easy it is for people to break into your home while your watching a scary movie about people breaking into homes....creepy!
what a great movie. very wierd and trashy. all the right stuff for a '70s movie. i think the actors had a great time making this movie. you could feel the drug use on and off the set and everyone seemed very far and hip. i stopped watching the movie when the daughters went to get baby back. they wandered into the house of the social worker and it reminded me to much of the era of sharon tate being murdered it was very southern california.tcm is the best!
Lots of Twists and Turns
I just caught the last half of this. The "synopsis" does not do it justice. I hope Turner shows this one again. I'd like to see it, but $20 is a bit too much to pay for the DVD.
