  • Flynn's Last made in USA swashbuckler

The story for this movie takes place off the coast of East Africa (Madagascar). Flynn is a British officer going undercover to infiltrate and destroy a nest of pirates which includes Maureen O'Hara and Anthony Quinn. The story and action are routine but the high powered cast bring it off with some class that other pirate movies do not have. The reason why I like this movie is that it tells its story in 90 minutes. No waste here. Flynn is not the young Flynn of bygone but he still had some dash left for this movie. This was Errol Flynn's last Hollywood swashbuckler.

This is an excellent Caribbean adventure in color not to be missed.Exciting mix of Flynn flare and fiery "spitfire" O'Hara. Not only are there dueling of pistols and sabers, but also of wits.Let us not forget the excellent supporting cast/director/stage crew that made this possible.
