The film was released in Great Britain in 1955 under the title The Reluctant Bride. According to materials contained in the Twentieth Century-Fox Records of the Legal Department at the UCLA Arts-Special Collections Library, the film was produced in 1955 by Ipar-Carroll Films, Inc., a California corporation, and shot in London by Tempean Films, Ltd. Twentieth Century-Fox paid Ipar-Carroll $50,000 for the U.S. distribution rights.
