NOTES

powered by AFI

The above credits and summary were taken from a dialogue continuity in the NYSA. In the continuity, actor Jack Bailey is listed as "Jack Railey," and the song "Clarabella, Have a Heart" is listed as "Arabella, Have a Heart." Although French Peep Show marked the feature film directing debut for Russ Meyer (1922-2004), many contemporary and modern sources mistakenly claim that his next film, the 1959 The Immoral Mr. Teas was his directorial debut. Meyer, who began his career as a Playboy photographer, became well known for his "sexploitation" films which included nude and/or partially clothed women, but with no explicit sex.
