This movie rocks!!!!!!!
- Conrad beltz
This is one of the most fascinating movies I have ever seen.About a man wronged by his employer and creates a GIANT BAT to avenge his tormentors and boy does he ever.Screeching giant bats flying all over the place scarring everyone it meets.I agree with my sister Dolly because when we were little we wouldn't go outside for weeks after seeing this scary movie.Mom had to lure us outside with pop tarts and that's when Gubba would show up.Then he saw the movie and to this day is very fearful of big and little bats. But he still likes pop tarts.
What should have been a better film deteriorates into sappy reporters investigating murders caused by an unknown animal(Killer bats) driven by after shave of the inventor Dr. Paul Caruthers(Bela Lugosi). He is seeking revenge because of him being paid a flat sum instead of getting the "lions" share for his inventions. Conevntionality sets in a we get a strung out series of events where it is very obvious who the killer is and his motivations. The "killer bats" only attack those who were given the "special " aftershave by Bela. There really isn't too much dramatic involvement but there is enough interest in the storyline and the Actors to keep it going. 3.5 stars out of 5.
Pretty Good Stuff

I am in complete agreement with Rupert and this Gubba person. The Commander is way too critical. This is good late night fare. Its almost as good as White Zombie.
This is a terriffic Movie

I think all the other reviews neglect the fact that this is a piece of motion picture history.
What were Rupert and Gubba watching
To say this is one of the greatest movies of all time is indeed a stretch.Jeepers, the next thing they will say is Bela Lugosi should of played Rhett Butler in Gone With The Wind.
- Mr. Gubba
Bela Lugosi is superb as the mad scientist. From start to finish this film is a winner. The budget was low but the actors rose above it to achieve film greatness. If I was stranded on a desert island this film would be my first choice.Wow!
A film classic
- Mike Rupert
I believe this to be one of the greatest films of all time.At least the top 200.Its kind of creaky but it has thrills galore.I don't know if the kiddies are ready for this.A mad scientist creates a GIANT BAT to destroy his enemies. It moves fast and furious.I used to stay up late at night and watch this and I made sure the lights were on.
