  • charming 1967 business world farce

    started watching this film in the middle and was pulled in by the comedy--had to go to tcm to see what film was playing. the writing and themes stand up to today's cut-throat world--and the sets are classic 60's mod. the musical numbers seem a bit simplistic, but the singing is good. the lead actor made the movie definitely worth watching for musical-comedy lovers. fans of "singin' in the rain" will recognize a certain high-pitched voice.
