Brief Synopsis

A team of scientists dig an ice-covered mass out of the South Pole which, it has been detected, is emitting radio signals. Berkeley Linguistics professor and former cryptologist Julian Rome is invited to the Antarctic to help the team decipher whatever coded message is being transmitted by the mass
