The film begins with a series of shots showing how man has controlled his environment by the use of mechanical devices and proceeds to put forth a theory of the birth of the earth. The development of cellular life, fish, and reptiles is all preliminary to the major part of the picture, which deals with the evolution of man. Various stages of monkey groups are shown to progress in their development until the final point in the argument is demonstrated--the evolution of modern man.
