According to the The Exhibitor review, which gave a running time of 79 minutes, the film was condemned by the National Catholic Legion of Decency. The October 1941 Motion Picture Herald review noted that Monogram's Chicago exchange took the picture out of general release and sold it as "a roadshow sex picture." The Motion Picture Herald review also listed the picture's running time as 62 minutes, suggesting that considerable footage May have been deleted for the Chicago run. According to information on file with the NYSA, the New York censors demanded eliminations, and the film's running time in that state was approximately 69 minutes. The The Exhibitor review refers to two of the cast members as Fred Nielsey and Billy Vines, but the Motion Picture Herald review calls these actors Fred Meilsey and Billy Birnes.
