Yup, it's one of those. One of my all time favorite terrible movies. Everything about it stinks out loud.Little Ronnie Howard is the best actor here, so that says a lot. Johnny Cash's acting is so wooden, it's a miracle that he not sprouting leaves. It's a good thing that Vic Tayback found the diner in Alice, because he had no where to go from this movie except down. So, kick back, and enjoy; it's not that painful. It's nothing that a little medical marijuana couldn't cure. That is, if it's legal where you live.

This was one of the worst movies ever made. The only actor that could act was little Ron Howard. Script was bad and the acting! Were they acting or was it supposed to be a comedy? Don't waste your time. Play a board game instead.

Johnny Cash plays a guitar-strumming, trigger-happy killer who teams-up with bank robber Vic Tayback (yes, Mel, of Mel's Diner from TV's "Alice") to pull a combo bank robbery/kidnapping scheme. The result? Let's just say it's a good thing Johnny Cash was a hell of a singer and songwriter. Because his acting skills in this movie left a lot to be desired. He really is awful. But he's not alone. There's a lot of bad acting in this movie. In fact, there's a lot of bad everything in this movie. But like so many bad films, (i.e. "Showgirls", "Plan 9 From Outer Space"), I found all these shortcomings to be quite endearing, and therefore entertaining. Which is really all you can ask from any flick. By the way, this film was reissued in the U.S. under two other names: "Door-to-Door Maniac" (my personal favorite), and "Last Blood." Three names for the same movie. That fact alone ought to tell you pretty much everything you need to know about this flick.
