In this 10th film of PRC's "Lone Rider" series, crooked banker Masters (I. Stanford Jolley) learns from rancher Jeff Sloane (John Elliott) that he and his partner, Sourdough (Jimmy Aubrey), have discovered a gold mine. Masters has his henchman Blackie (Charles King) and his gang, kill Sourdough and take Sloane a prisoner to force him to reveal the location of the gold strike. Masters tries to frame Smoky Moore (Dennis Moore) for the murder, by planting on him the gun used in the murder by Indian Pete (Nick Thompson), but his pals Tom Cameron/The Lone Rider (George Houston) and Fuzzy Jones (Al St. John) rescue him as the gang is taking him to the sheriff (Edward Peil.) After talking to Sloane's daughter, Amy (Patricia Knox), Tom is convinced that Masters is behind the killing and is also holding the old man a prisoner somewhere. He and his two pals set out to find and free Sloane and to also prove Masters' guilt.
