Dear TCM,Thank you for your effort to broadcast classic movies, in particular the Westerns. But why do you keep "Directed by John Ford" for yourself. This is a very important document about America's greatest film director, and since you own it, it is your obligation to make it available. On DVD Please.Best regardsChristian

What a wonderfully rich and comprehensive overview of Ford's methods and magic. Ford was the finest filmmaker of his day or any other in my opinion and this documentary goes a long way toward proving it. Every filmmaker should be required to view this portrait of a magnificent and gifted director.
