Brief Synopsis

When China re-opened travel to the United States in 1979, virtuoso violinist Isaac Stern was invited to tour the country. Stern originally accepted an invitation to go to a rehearsal, and perform one recital, but wound up touring two cities, giving a formal concert, and teaching many master classes.
