Brief Synopsis

The story of Charles Strickland, an aging stockbroker who deserts his family to pursue a career as an artist. Based on the 1925 novel by William Somerset Maugham. The novel was first adapted to television via "The Somerset Maugham Theater" on April 30, 1951, with Lee J. Cobb and Olive Deering as C
