That was a great movie that i looked forward to watching every holiday season for like 20 years. Then, just because they made another version, they quit showing the only version i liked. And the only version I will ever watch of those movies. It was great and every year i keep hoping to see it .

I loved this version of Miracle on 34th street and always looked forward to it beingon TV each year. When they stopped showing it I was so sad. I keep trying to find iton DVD, sure wish whoever has the rights would release it. I think it was and is the bestversion of the story.

My Husband and I have been searching for this movie for a long time, I wish it would hurry and get on DVD real soon. It is one of the best movies, since the original came out.

  • The third attemp to remake the"Miracle"for tv.

This is the third attemp to remake"Miracle On 34th Street"for tv.The first attemp was back in 1955 and the second in 1959.Yet..even this tv movie version..which last two hours, has a bigger cast and a simular plot to the original..still fails to recapture the magic of the original. The most disapointing part of this tv movie is the casting of the leads..especially Mr.Cabot..who tries to play his "Kris Kringle"like Mr.Gwen.But..he doesn't come close.
