Did Ali Mcgraw ever come close to competence?
My Best Movie Of All Times
- Author, E. Smith
When I first saw this movie as a young Kid it had me sad for many, many years. Love the main soundtrack to this movie as well. Never ever have I watched a single movie and got so emotional. No other movie has made me feel if though I was a part of it like Love Story. I must add that when Ryan found Jenny after that hard search for her, That moment took me right to that moment of Forrest Gump and his Jenny in that movie when he was pleading for her love. The one part that always stays on my mind from this movie is when Jenny says "Love means never having to say you're sorry". She struck gold with that and it is one of the most realest things I ever heard and extremely heartfelt. A mega huge thanks on this one TCM.

This story has so much in it, Love, for each other, Hate, among the have and have nots,we have to deal with this now. 1970-2012. This movie remindes me a a woman of color that LOVE can with stand any hate. Love, always wins.
Love Story (1970)
- Jay Higgins
A mega hit back in 1971, but really it's nothing more than a very basic love story, with shades of Romeo and Juliet. The score is very memorable, and Ryan O'Neal and Ali MacGraw do a fine job. They have good chemistry.
Greatest Movie EVER!!!
Love means never having to say you're sorry- some like this movie some dont! I happen to love this movie. There will never be another movie quite like this one-the actors have a great chemistry!!
i balled like a baby!
I just want to watch it over and again!! loved this film!!!
Love Story (1970)
This movie was saddening, and left me with a sense that one day I would be in Oliver's position. My heart was heavy and I even dreamt about it. Ryan O'Neal (Oliver) could have done a little better acting when Ali McGraw (Jenny) died, because that was the part of the movie I found myself wondering if he ever went to acting school. But overall the movie really touched my soul.
How can it be wrong?
When "I" fall in love, it will be forever.... What a shame that tomorrow is promised to no one. How can love be wrong when it feels so right? In the throes of adversity, true love always finds a way to shine through. This is one of these fairy tale romances. An affair of the heart which can only have been made in Heaven. With love being so right, how can it be wrong? If I say "I'm sorry" I really don't mean it. How can I? If "Love, means NEVER having to say...you're sorry"? A "2" box of tissues film.
