Brief Synopsis

Kate is a mathematics professor who is married to a cheerful architect named Homer. Kate travels from their home in Chicago to New York City, where she meets the handsome, recently retired professional baseball player Ben. The two are attracted to each other, and when Ben pursues her, Kate is surprised by her willingness to get romantically involved with him.
