How to spend your summer video viewing
Often credited as being the "first" made-for-TV movie (1967), this slick thriller has exotic backdrops from the studio stock footage archive as well as carefully framed California landscapes. It's a good story even if a bit far fetched. Peter Lawford in one of his better roles. Walter Pigeon is good, too, as the arch villain. Jill St. John is sexy and quirky (dig those flip-up sunglasses). But whatever is truly going on plot wise remained a mystery even to this viewer. Lots of 1960s jet-set style and fun. DVD bootlegs are available online but of poor quality, no doubt VHS dubs made from subsequent late-night television airings.
Where is this movie?

There are so many lousy movies available on DVD and BluRay why can't this movie (which is great by the way) be released as an authorized version (don't get me started @ the bootleg copy from a VCR recording of an over the air broadcast) so that we can see it since so many people want it?
Where is this Movie ?

In all my years of watching movies , I have seen none that even comes close in comparing to it . It has to be one of the all time greats to rival Citizen Kane in its suspense and mystery . I was completely captivated by the plot and story line . Those who don't like it either were too stupid or were not paying attention to what was actually going on . The ending was the best I have ever seen in a movie.
Small Prey Can Be Dangerous When Cornered

Young, handsome, but gauche suitor (Bob Wagner) finds himself up against an "omniscient" international-combine whose power is so pervasive that it can control even a spinning ball on a roulette-wheel half a world away. This suspense-thriller-subtle-comedy-romance held me tight from beginning to end. Wagner (who has discovered too much) is about to be 'offed', but escapes by remembering and employing an unusual ability: "My only real talent is that I can hold my breath for a long time..." One of my FAVORITE movies of all. Beautiful co-star, Jill Ireland became Mrs. Robert Wagner a few years after.
Bring it to TCM

This is a movie I haven't seen in years but it always stuck in my memory. I'd love to see it on TCM.

the 2 stars are a young robert wagner and peter lawford. a young man is dating a billionairs daughter (jill st john).this billionair is very competive. so he tests robert wagner and they compete with everything. wagner trying to beat and win the respect of this man. the competition gets more and more vicious and real. onyl one of them can come out a winner. great thriller. this movie is not listed in either actors bio. this would make a good movie to remake if done right. a director who understands characters and the conflict between both.
