  • Esther Williams & Red Skelton the BEST

    • 6/6/13

This movie made me smile because because of the very likeable characters these two mega stars created. It was so entertaining and different because Esther Williams isn't swimming non-stop. I wholeheartedly give it a must see rating because of the surprises throughout.

Red Skelton as a leading man? Not likely. But Red Skelton in his own element is a great clown. If you add some of the best of MGM, and have Esther Williams swim around in Howard Keel's head, you have created a very enjoyable musical comedy.

  • typical esther movie....2 star special

If I remember correctly, this is the mgm color film, where all the scenes with Texas flagshave them upside down.....mmmm. Maybe Ann Miller wasn't in those scenes.
