Arriving by stagecoach at Wickenburg, a small Southwestern village, Count Dracula poses as the uncle of Betty Bentley, who owns the Bar-B ranch. Almost immediately he arouses the suspicions of the ranch foreman, the reformed outlaw Billy the Kid. As Billy sets out to prove the "uncle" an imposter, he is unaware that Dracula already has Betty in his power. The local doctor eventually comes to Billy's aid by holding a mirror up to Dracula's face and exposing him as a vampire when no reflection appears in the glass. Although Dracula escapes, Billy, the doctor, and the marshal trace him to a silver mine. Bullets proving to be of no help, Billy fights off Dracula's attack with a scalpel and drives it into the vampire's heart. As his body dissolves, Betty recovers from the mesmerized state in which Dracula had placed her.
