    I feel this film is vastly overrated, and I think a lot of the praise is simply because of who the director is. If this was released under a different director's name the ratings would be significantly lower. Nicole Kidman gives her usual aloof performance, Tom Cruise gives his usual unconvincing and poor performance. The story is absurd, the film is way overlong. I didn't care about anyone in the film, it's a muddled and uninteresting mess.
