She also must outwit Agis' life-long protectors: the rational philosopher Hermocrates and his scientific spinster Leontine, who have raised Agis to avoid all things romantic. Using her powerful talent for seduction (and slipping between male and female personalities) the Princess takes aim on Agis but, in the process, accidentally winds up engaged to three different people.
