  • Excellent short film!

"Inflation" is one of the best short films I've ever seen, and I hope the people in charge of scheduling at TCM will consider airing it more often, or releasing the short for purchase on DVD or digital download. As other reviewers have noted, the film is as appropriate now as it was in the 1940s, if not more so. Though I originally thought it was a silly bit of propaganda, the more I reflected on it the more fitting it became. Please air this again!

Inflation is even more relevant today than it was in 1943. FDR's inserted presentation was priceless as was the "devil's" piece. Please air this piece every day!

  • Great short film

Today, for the first time, I saw the short film "Inflation." It should be shown periodally on both broadcast and cable TV to remind people of the importance of staying out of debt and paying for things as they go. People complain about the government's debt and deficit, but they should take stock of their own debt. Many individual Americans are in credit card debt due to their own greed and selfishness. "Inflation" is a great film with a very important lesson to teach!

Yesterday was the first time we had seen the short Inflation - it was amazing. I would like to know the next time this will air so I can let many of my friends to watch. As I have alwasy heard "History Repeats Itself". Unfortunantly we do have not learned from history.

This should be played on regular TV to show the how the world has not changed by much. This program mirrors today from yesteryear.

An amazing look at the economic and social values of the 1940s but MORE important a mirror to look at America's current economic crisis with new eyes. It's a clever and well-acted tale with the battle of good and evil played out in terms of capitalism's lures and dangers. Vote to get it on DVD!
