Gary Cooper, Ida Lupino, Buster Keaton, Judy Garland, Andy Devine, Robert Taylor and so many others. Just great entertainment. Here is a bunch of big name actors and nobody is being the diva. Wow, now that is refreshing. Makes it a pleasure to watch as no one is trying to upstage anyone. I love this short and watch it every time it is on TCM.

Fascinating short film, wonderfully filmed in Technicolor. Great cameo appearances by movie stars of the time. Fine narration. Fun and entertaining.Notable for a very early appearance of Judy Garland as one of the Gumm Sisters.

FUN with the STARS

Well, the studios spared no expense even in the "shorts". Star-studded and full of pagentry! Big name stars such as Ida Lupino, Gary Cooper and even little Judy Garland singing with her sisters! Real stars with real talent, definately not like the one dimentional stars of today. You would never see Denzel Washington, Tom Cruise or Angelina Jolie doing something of this caliber. It did seem the narrator was puposely mispronouncing the names of the Mexican customs, but it ws still a pleasure to watch.
