  • Great short!

The only complaint I have against this ten minute short is it is not current and telling us what Baby Rose Marie did later on. Rose Marie is alive and well and 89 years old this year! She is the famous bawdy Rose Marie of "Hollywood Squares" and the smart-mouthed copywriter for years on "The Dick Van Dyke" show, plus many, many other television shows. She was a living doll when she was "Baby Rose Marie" and the short shows how talented she was way back when. A fun look back on what she was as a child.

  • More Baby Rose Marie please!

I'm so glad I caught this short yesterday. It was fabulous! Rose Marie could really belt the songs when she was a little girl! I don't know if TCM has any more of her shorts available but I would love to see ANYTHING available from the 20's or 30's with a performance by Baby Rose Marie in it. To think this adorable little girl grew up to play Sally Rogers on the Dick Van Dyke show! If this short is ever aired again, don't miss it! Baby Rose Marie is also in International House(1933) with W.C. Fields but I haven't seen that film.
