Great piece of history!

As a longtime resident of Victoria, I was delighted to see this! A little bit saddened, too, to see how much Victoria has lost its "old world" charm. We're bigger but not necessarily better. Thanks, TCM, for a blast from the past!

Victoria & Vancouver (1936)
- Michael Bencik
- 3/13/08
This film is only 9 minutes however, it gives wonderful history on both Victoria & Vancouver in 1936. The scenes of yesteryear are incredible as it shows the old Queen Margurite that used to sail between Victoria and Seattle and cable cars that are no longer working. I hope TCM prints this on DVD as I would like to buy a copy.
