I have nothing against this film, but I'm wondering why its still on the "NOT ON DVD" list. Will someone at TCM wake-up and correct this. Thank you.

  • Superb dialogue fireworks

Legendary Hollywood women's director George Cukor's last movie is a fireworks of dialogue gems between the two main characters played by Jacqueline Bisset (perhaps in her best performance on screen) and Candice Bergen. It is a both funny and thought provoking glimpse into the futility and impossibility of adhering to the ethos of one's youth when faced with (the adults) hitherto unthinkable questions of morality, friendship and love. Besides the stunning performances of the two leads, the film also is the debut of now famous actress Meg Ryan. And features a gigolo seduction scene played by the (then) very young boyfriend of Olivia Newton-John, Matt Lattanzi.

  • Supreme Classic!

This rare classic from legendary director George Cukor is a masterpiece like no other. With Jacqueline Bisset & Candice Bergen as two life long friends (and authors), it's a classic that really touches the values of life. Also known for the screen debut of Meg Ryan. This film needs a DVD soon; come on Warner Home Video, lets have it please!!!
