    Frank S. Nugent wrote at the time that this "was written on elastic paper and stretched several yards beyond its breaking point." He calculated it would only run a week at the Strand, and that would be it. But nowadays we are thankful for every blessed minute of Blondell and Farrell, and Hugh, too.

    I just love Joan Blondell so, any film w/ Joan is ok w/ me! And Hugh Herbert is one of a kind! Maltin review is right on the money (excuse the pun) though, when it comes to the overall picture!
