Freddie Bartholomew was such a terrific child actor and he starred in many memorable films at MGM. In this one, "Lord Jeff", he is ably supported by a fine cast, which includes Mickey Rooney and Terry Kilburn. For a really fun time, catch Freddie Bartholomew and Judy Garland in "Listen, Darling". Thank God, for TCM, they have kept Freddie Bartholomew's memory alive with films like this one, "Lord Jeff".
I was just flipping through the channels and passed through TCM and seen this pretty dough-eyed little boy on the screen(Terry Kilburn) and decided to stay on the channel. This was a awesome movie, the best I've seen in a while, to bad it came out a long time ago...lol...But I stayed and watched this movie and I'm so glad I did I loved and cant get it out of my head I hope it will be played again! :)
Great family film
Freddie was just a great actor! I just happened to turn the tv on at the right time and found this jewel. Just another one of his great and heartwarming performances. He just always breaks your heart, he played that kid who could be so bad and turn out so good. This is a sweet and funny film, and some great actors in supporting roles, like Rooney!
