  This film deserves a place on the "Films to be released on DVD" list! Everyone is in this film! Beautiful cinematography, great direction, wonderful performances - what's not to love? I hope my vote counts, because this is definitely a keeper!

  This movie was a hidden treasure. The make-up was excellent, the costumes were excellent. Everyone that was anyone was in this movie. Wish they did it in technicolor...When can we get in on DVD. LOVED IT!

  This movie portrays Joan Crawford when she was a beautiful woman, almost unrecognizable when comparing her look to later roles. Her voice and mouth are the give aways as to who she is. The entire movie is the old style "eye candy" type of movie; beautiful costumes, settings and many stars--with a nice old fashioned score and beautiful in black and white--with a bit of history mixed in!

  Please broadcast this movie. I am very interested in Andrew Jackson and this sounds intriguing. With a cast of so many stars, it seems to me it should be a worthwhile film. Thank you.

  This movie that I had never seen or even heard of seems to be packed with stars. For leading men you have Melvyn Douglas, Robert Taylor, James Stewart, and Franchot Tone. For strange casting you have Lionel Barrymore as Andrew Jackson, heavily made up but still looking like Lionel Barrymore. Sydney Toler as
