When I first saw this movie, I thought it was such an excellent movie. I recorded from TV onto a VHS at that time. The length was 144 minutes and worth every minute. Now that it was placed on DVD, the time was cut badly. It went from 144 minutes down to 109 minutes. I watched this movie so many times, I could tell what came before and after. So when I purchased the DVD, I immediately knew what scenes were cut. It is a shame that so much was cut. I thought with DVD, you could add back in the director's cuts, but instead, the director's cuts remain out and additional ones were taken out. I was so disappointed in the DVD version. I can not find a new VHS copy anywhere. Only used copy is being sold or rentals. I wish someone would put back the parts that were cut from the VHS tapes. It is a really excellent movie. I like all the actors and actresses that played in this movie. Who can help restore the 144 minutes to a DVD?
