  • High Wall is terrific!

Very well done film noir, a hidden gem with terrific Robert Taylor as a former bomber pilot, falsely accused murderer and mental patient who recovers. Excellent Herbert Marshall and Audrey Totter. Highly recommend.

  • Film noir at its best!

This really is a forgotten minor classic, starring the best Robert Taylor you're ever likely to see.

  • High Wall-Please release this on DVD

I had the opportunity to see this movie on TCM and I was hooked!!!!This is such a good movie Conflict with Humphrey Bogart.

  • Effective use of B & W

It isn't until one sees a movie such as this that one realizes that use of B&W can so effectively add to the overall mood of a film. It is understated but effective. The film also shows how effective Robert Taylor could be in a small role, in contrast to the wide-ranging films that he was to go on and star in.
