  Este filme é ótimo. Mostra uma bela Elizabeth Taylor lindisssima por sinal e o Stewart Granger muito belo. Uns dos melhores filmes que já vi.

• Great, old fashioned costume effort

  This picture features two of the most beautiful people of the 1950' s, Elizabeth Taylor and Stewart Granger, and one of the ugliest, Peter Ustinov. Beau Brummell is pseudo-bio of the great British dandy, depicting some of the wild adventures and intrigue thst he possibly have had while moving around the upper-crust regency society. Taylor is beautiful and alluring although she really isn't given anything to do but just that----be gorgeous scenary. Granger girdles his waist flat to wear the exquisitely detailed Regency Buck costumes, although the look on his face towards the end of the film often indicates he wishes he could take off his girdle. Ustinov, the hammiest of hams, delivers probably the best lines, similar to those he uttered as King Nero in Quo Vadis a few years before. All-in-all, not historically accurate, but amusing, and a chance to see how the other half live.

  What a brilliant film. The quicker this film is out on DVD Region 2, the better
