I seen this movie 2 years ago when I was layed up in the hospital. I own the Ma and Pa Kettle series, and Marjorie Main is just a hoot. I have 2 little girls that are in love with the Ma and Pa kettle series, so I thought why not purchase Tish also. And it also was a big hit with them. I am very pleased that their is a place I can go and always find the oldies but goodies.Thank you TCM, for viewing great old family films on your TCM channel and also fro having the movies for purchse. What a surprise this movie was to me. I had never seen it before and was so taken with the story line. Marjorie Main is a wonderful actress and it comes out in this movie. I only know her as "Ma Kettle" or small bit parts in other movies, so this was a great movie with her as the main character. All the other actors are wonderful too. Don't miss this movie when it airs again.

I love watching the older classics of the 30's to 60's the ones that have been long forgotten. The black and whites are the best and truestist of movie classics. please play more of them. Even my 15 year old son loves them and will sit and watch them with me. Just goes to show you dont need drugs, violence or sex to make a great movie.

I have been waiting for this movie to come back on for a long time. I have requested it numerous times. Glad to see it on again. I have only seen it one time and then I missed the first of it. Great Marjorie Main movie especially funny seeing her on roller skates.

I saw Tish a few years ago on TCM and fell in love all over again with Marjorie Main. This movie is ALL Marjorie. It's sweet, sad and hysterically funny all at the same time. She's bossy, she's right and she's on roller skates! She's just a great big heart of love in this movie and you have to watch for it and treat yourself to the best time you've ever had with a really great lady.
