"Love" Greta Garbo & John Gilbert
This is really a very good movie. Why won't TCM re-record the excellent music soundtrack without the live audience? Inexplicably, there is laughter from the audience throughout the film.
Love- One of my Fav movies
- D.L. Hall
I enjoyed watching LOVE. The silent film is a lost art, and TCM which shows these films has given me a true appreciation of this once glorious film art form. My one regret is the soundtrack for this film which includes a laugh track. Which in reality is Love really a laughable subject. Outside of that one flaw this is a movie worth seeing more than once.
Outstanding Silent film with Excellent Music
I would highly recommend "Love" even to those who think they wouldn't enjoy a silent film. It certainly deserves to be released on DVD. The music score by Arnold Brostoff is excellent and should be released separately on CD or download. I hope who ever owns the rights will do so with a digitally remastered version.
