I'd like to see this movie on DVD because I was in it as a baby. I have stills from the set but haven't seen the movie. I think my part was cut but if all of the original film is still there, then that would be great. I'm slowing collecting the films I was in and this is one of them.

This film is a hidden gem that needs to be shown on TCM and released on DVD! Kelly has three great dances and his comic timing is superb.

I love Gene Kelly and this was his first movie that turned me on to his work. I would love to be able to have this selection at home with me to watch it again and again. I think Gene Kelly was a phenominal singer, dancer and actor. I am defintly one of his biggest fans.

GENE KELLY,in my opinion, was great in all of his movies, whether dancing or not. "Living in a Big Way" has become another favorite of mine. The "always so handsome" GENE never fails to show his sensuality, and in this delicate romantic movie, he's a patient gentleman, in that he tolerates the rejection of his wife after returning from the war, but continues to try and win her heart back. As always, his dance routines are excellent. I love the opening dance routine with him and Marie MacDonald, and "FIDO AND ME" is an adorable act, especially the song he sings. This is a movie that certainly warms my heart and makes me laugh at the same time...the humor between the butler and Mr. Morgan is especially a plus. And how sweet of grandmother Morgan to come to "LEO GOGARTY'S rescue and befriend him as he attempts to do the right thing towards her grandaughter, Margaud. I have rated this as my #2 most favorite movie of GENE KELLY'S, Anchors Aweigh being my #1 favorite. I think anyone who sees this movie won't help but love it. After all, it's the matchless GENE KELLY... Gotta' love him,!! I certainly do!
