I saw Man in the Dark in 3D in its original release in 1953 (I was obsessed by 3D then as I still am today). What I remember vividly from that first viewing was the climax (which takes place on a roller coaster) looked very strange because while Edmond O'Brien and the coaster car he was in were in 3D, the rear projection of the coaster and the track racing past were flat, which lent a truly (and unintended) level of vertiginous nightmarishness to a man's trying to overcome surgery induced amnesia (except I was 9 at the time and probably didn't know what vertiginous nightmarishness meant, so I probably just told my parents "that looks weird"). Looking forward to seeing it again after all these years to see if it is truly the B movie I remember it to be.
