    Source: not available

    The filming location appears to be White's Cove at Catalina Island, California. The pier is an adjunct to the Girl Scout camp at that site. The yacht 'Matilda' is actually the 'Wild Goose' owned by John Wayne and sister ship to the 'Calypso' belonging to Jaques Cousteau. Both ships are converted WWII Navy minesweepers.
