The film's working titles were The Ghost of O'Leary and Happy Ever After, which was the film's British release title. A preliminary U.S. release title was Stranger in Town. Correspondence in this film's MPAA/PCA file at the AMPAS Library indicates that Allied Artists had a pre-production involvement in its making. A closing title card indicates that the film's distributor in the Eastern Hemisphere was Associated British Path.
