  • Strange Ending

Why did she smile so knowingly at the lawyer at the end? It's as if that was their plot all along...together.Now, I have to read the book!

  • A Worthy Yarn

Captivating story line that builds throughout the yarn. Well acted and cast. Holds the attention of the viewer as the story develops. I recommend it highly.

  • Miss Hayward Excellent

    • 8/28/10

Susan Hayward took this role over from Ingrid Bergman and said of her favorite star Miss Bergman, "If It Is good enough for Ingrid Bergman, it is good enough for Me! ( The two co starred at Columbia in 'Adam Had Four Sons'). Miss Hayward always professional stars in this Robert Stevens medical/courtroom drama set in the beautiful English countryside with typically fine MGM production values. Excellent support by another set of pro's Peterr Finch and Diane Cilento. The movie is a bit muddled as Susan Hayward- a Catholic- refused to go along with the Euthanasia theme at the end. Susan Hayward, beautiful and gutsy, deserves to be remembered for her always fine acting and stunning allure. RIP Hayward, Finch, Cilento.
