One of the best IMPACT MOVIES of the times I believe in the late 60's - early 70's during my youthful years of early 20's to mid 20's. Realistically unequalled action suspense drama seeminlgy from the begining to end...then___and now to me, categorically goes with "The Mercenaries" or "Dark Of The Sun".

This film has what most people consider one of the best fight scenes ever filmed because as the story goes Rod Taylor and William smith traded real blows during the fight! And Rod Taylor's playing John D. Macdonald's Knight errant Travis MacGee. It doesn't get any better! Anyone who has read the books knows that casting Taylor was the perfect choice. it's to bad they didn't do more. It's also been said that Bruce Lee saw this film and picked Robert Clouse to direct Enter The Dragon because of the great fight scene.
