Enjoyable and very stimulating to the mind
I loved every second of it! It made me think about the United States' divorce courts and laws, and at the same time told a very humorous tale. My favorite part was when "Richard" went home at the end and the kids were all enthralled. Of course when Mrs. Harmon doesn't kiss "Big Al", well that was pretty funny too!
Another very good bedroom comedy about life in the suburban sixties. Reminds me of another favorite released in the same year, "A Guide For The Married Man".
Divorce American Style (1967)
- James Higgins
A rather biting comic satire, very well written and fine stylish direction. All the performances are fine, one of Debbie Reynolds and Van Johnson's best performances. Nice camerawork. Very well done in all areas.
