  • Gripping Realism

    This film is by far the most engrossing and frankly,scariest study of a madman. Sir Alec Guiness completely draws you in with every voice inflection and body movement. The building of real and imagined treachery, the denied futility of a twisted dream, all leads to a one for the ages scene by Guiness when Hitler finally realizes all is lost. I think an overlooked masterpiece.

    This film is very interesting and well made. Alec Guiness gives a fantastic preformance as Hitler, the best ever. The film does have some historical inaccuracies.
