LEE GRANT STEALS THE WHOLE MOVIE
- Pascoe Braun
- 7/17/17
The only interesting character in this was Lee Grant, what an amazing actress still alive at nearly 90 Everyone else basically played themselves. Brenda Vaccaro was also very good and the scene with her and Lee Grant fighting at the door was ridiculously funny but also well acted. Theres no way Mrs Wallace could have opened the door for a start...Jack lemmon was serviceable as the Captain and it was fun to see HUSH HUSH SWEET CHARLOTTE co-starts De Havilland and Cotten together once more. Overall big improvement from the TV like AIRPORT 1975 which often rates in the top 100 list of worst films but this was definately a stylish looking production all round. Not as good as the original AIRPORT but a lot better than the other two especially the one with the Concorde bahahahaha

Airport '77 (1977)
- James Higgins
- 1/8/10
It is hokey, downright stupid at times, way to melodramatic, far fetched, the plot is riddled with holes, the acting is over the top by most, it's cliche ridden but I still liked it. It had some very suspenseful scenes and it was fun to watch.
