  • Elvis Gets Girl Happy

Elvis (this time around) plays the leader of a rock combo, that travels to Florida for Spring Break, after promising his boss to look after his daughter. The fun starts as Elvis falls for the daughter. Basic Elvis fare, with a fine score, sometimes stupid and silly plot, but worth the look.

  • Girl Happy Saddly Missing From DVD

How sad that this Elvis vehicle is not available on DVD. This was one of Elvis' best comedies and still very enjoyable. I watch it every year for spring break. Granted, RCA messed up the soundtrack and speeded up Elvis' voice in a few songs to make him sound younger. How dumb can you get? You don't tamper with one of the best voices ever! Anyway, with a cast that included the lovely Shelly Fabares in her first film with Elvis and beautiful Mary Ann Mobley, what are they thinking not putting this film out on DVD? It is about time to complete the Elvis collection and get these last 5 movies out. Come on guys, 50,000,000+ Elvis fans can't be wrong!
