One of my favorite Jerry Lewis movies! Sadly, we can't find it on DVD or even VHS :(

Great movie

I have been waiting years for this movie to be released first on beta max, then VHS and now DVD. I remember watching this movie several times on tv when I was very young (almost 50 years ago). I truly hope that the movie is either released on DVD or it is shown again on tv so I can tape it.

Funniest Movie with a Beatnik Scene
- Lorraine
- 1/2/07
I'll keep it short and sweet. This movie, as I recall, has one of the funniest "beatnik" scenes I have ever seen, enhanced by Jerry Lewis' sweet personality when he was young. I've been thinking of it ever since I saw "So I Married an Axe Murderer". Also, "Bell, Book and Candle" is reminiscent of the Beatnik scene in Visit to a Small Planet. (Ihave to admit that I'm not sure which of those two movies came first!) I haven't seen this movie in years, and It is not available for purchase. If you are lucky enough to catch it on TV, I recommend it to anyone who liked the young Jerry Lewis or who ever likes Mike Meyers! You'll see that Lewis must have been an influence.
