One of my favorite Jerry Lewis movies! Sadly, we can't find it on DVD or even VHS :(

Great movie

I have been waiting years for this movie to be released first on beta max, then VHS and now DVD. I remember watching this movie several times on tv when I was very young (almost 50 years ago). I truly hope that the movie is either released on DVD or it is shown again on tv so I can tape it.

Funniest Movie with a Beatnik Scene
- Lorraine
- 1/2/07
I'll keep it short and sweet. This movie, as I recall, has one of the funniest "beatnik" scenes I have ever seen, enhanced by Jerry Lewis' sweet personality when he was young. I've been thinking of it ever since I saw "So I Married an Axe Murderer". Also, "Bell, Book and Candle" is reminiscent of the Beatnik scene in Visit to a Small Planet. (Ihave to admit that I'm not sure which of those two movies came first!)I haven't seen this movie in years, and It is not available for purchase. If you are lucky enough to catch it on TV, I recommend it to anyone who liked the young Jerry Lewis or who ever likes Mike Meyers! You'll see that Lewis must have been an influence.
