Warner Brothers truly erred by not teaming Errol Flynn and Kay Francis more often. The screen chemistry is there. They made a very fine team in "Another Dawn". They took a script and added their own electricity and produced fireworks until the end. I was able to find this film on DVD and treasure it immensely.

Fine music score by Korngold

A grade B, very routine Hollywood production, a standard-issue potboiler, but: the real hero of the film is the music composer, Erich Korngold, who fashioned a rich and gratifying musical score, highly romantic in an over-the-top way. So good that it almosts distracts the viewer/listener from the film, at times. This score includes some music that Korngold borrowed for his violin concerto, which he wrote around 1949 or 1950.
