Do You Believe in Ghosts
- Ron Oleksiak
- 10/8/15
The Ghost of Flight 401 is one of those stories that either you believe or you do not. I am a believer and I will tell you why. I have followed this story since the first sightings were reported back in 1973. I had friends who worked for Eastern Airlines in Miami at the time and they all know of the Ghost appearances. The movie only briefly goes into detail about the Ghosts. Frank Borman, the President of Eastern Airlines at the time, threatened employees with dismissal if they spoke of the Ghosts because he said he did NOT BELIEVE IN GHOSTS. Ironically, he himself, saw the Ghost of Dom Repo in the cockpit of one of his planes. Upon seeing the Ghost of Dom Repo, he immediately had all planes with parts from the crashed L-1011 SOLD to South American Airlines. Yet, he still refused to believe in Ghosts.

The Ghost of Flight 401

I just read the old paperback book. Wow! A modern day ghost story! It gave me goose bumps! I remember seeing the movie sooo long ago & thinking that testimony from level headed people, like pilots, must account for something. Also, what a cast! Can't we get the network that made it, release it to you guys? I know all of us aviation fans would love to see it again.

I thought this was a true movie

I know the plane landed in the glades(crashed) and I had believed this was all real and that the airlines did everything possible to keep it from becoming available for us to buy. A really weird thing happened as I recorded it from TV. Each time some kind of incident occured- there was a commercial right after--well since I 'stopped' my tape instead of 'pausing" it- the tape rewound a bit and somehow erased all the weird stuff......weird. I've been trying to get a copy for some time now..........any suggestions?below--is 1 good or is 10 the best?(for the ratings)it is not clear!!!!!
