OK Spy Spoof

"Where The Spies Are" (1966) is just one of the many spoofs of the spy/secret agent film genre (particularly the James Bond films) that popped up during the swinging 60's. While it's reasonably funny, it's not on the same level as "Our Man Flint" and "In Like Flint" with James Coburn, and the Matt Helm films with Dean Martin, and of course the spectacular star-studded "Casino Royale" (1967), the biggest spy spoof of them all. In fact, three of the people associated with "Where The Spies Are" were involved a year later with "Casino Royale" - Star David Niven and screenwriters Wolf Mankowitz and Val Guest, who also directed WTSA. Guest was also one of the seven directors who worked on CR.
